Elite Off-Grid Adventures specializes in outdoor experiences for adventure seekers of all skill levels. We help you plan a solo adventure, a getaway with family and friends, or a team-building event. Our activities and comfortable accommodations are tailored to your specific needs and budget.
Founded by Ruben Albert, a retired military veteran and outdoor enthusiast, EOGA is dedicated to helping everyone experience the natural adrenaline rush provided by good ol' Mother Nature. Growing up in Northern Maine, Ruben's love for the state's wilderness was instilled in him through countless hunting, fishing, and recreational activities. With a strong foundation in outdoor skills passed down from his father, grandfathers, and uncles, he spent his youth exploring the great outdoors and became a Registered Maine Guide.
Twenty-five years of Army service, including a decade supporting the United States Special Operations Command, further honed Ruben's expertise in land navigation, survival, and marksmanship. These experiences taught him the importance of positivity and never settling for "good enough"—principles he carries into everything he does.
Gail Albert brings over 25 years of planning and executing corporate events and awards trips for Fortune 500 businesses and their leadership teams. She has planned events ranging from small intimate dinners for CEOs, multi-national think-tank summits for international clients and large corporate events for over 2000 people. Most recently, Gail coordinated corporate travel and meetings for an international foundation leadership team. Her attention to detail is top-notch and she brings her personal touch to every event to ensure your adventure with EOGA is flawless.
It's been Ruben and Gail's dream to offer one-of-a-kind wilderness adventures for everyone, regardless of skill, physical ability, or prior experience. Their pride is EOGA's inclusiveness, and offer free skill-building sessions during your adventures. Whether it's learning basic navigation with a map and compass or mastering canoe stroke techniques, the memories and valuable life skills will last a lifetime.
